Very best idea make rules time

One time I watched a documentary on Philip K. Dick where Robert Anton Wilson was one of the people interviewed.

Very best idea make rules time!

This was before he was dying or whatever. In the interview, Wilson made a show of spontaneously "remembering" something called MK-ULTRA, the CIA mind control experimentation program and he wondered aloud - as though for the first time - whether or not Dick was a victim of this program. The whole thing unfolded probably in about fifteen seconds, and it rang some kind of bells for me when I watched it. I don't know that I think Wilson was lying or anything, but there was a moment in the video where Wilson had finished talking about this subject of people being unknowing mind-control slaves, paused, and then silently touched the tip of his nose with his index finger. I have wondered about this ever since I saw it. Was Wilson's body language accidentally conveying more than he meant it to (that he was or is a victim), or was this a classic case of my seeing what I want to see?

What do I want to see?

I have been thinking about why I smashed my cell phone with a rock in my backyard until funny smelling smoke came out of it, but I haven't even really considered doing the same thing to my iPod Shuffle. The other night gave me an answer: an mp3 player gives me reliable and consistent access to user-selected emotional states (ie, "songs" or "music"). Whereas a cell phone gives you much more "jumpy" or "chaotic" streams of emotional information which also requires a much greater energy outlay to keep track of and respond to. I don't think after all that in the long run it has as much to do with being accessible or "electronically chained" as I originally thought it. I think it has much more to do with predictability and control of emotional states. Otherwise my life has not been impacted much by it. I still hang out with my friends just like ever, if not even make plans a little more freely and loosely. Which is nice.

Where you are in time-space is only a reflection of what files are important to you right now. As the importance of files increases or diminishes, spatial and temporal changes occur within your field of awareness.

I have been thinking a lot lately (surprise!): why is it that "stream of consciousness" writing is considered "difficult" or "hard to follow" (or even "dangerous" by some readers?!) when it actuality it probably more truthfully reflects one's internal processes. Because let's face it, there's not one of us that in the quiet of their own mind thinks in a totally clear, logical, intelligible and brilliant manner. Most of us are very chaotic inside. Perhaps the "problem" with this style of writing that some people have is that they don't want to be reflected with how they already are inside. I'm not sure. I will leave it up to those people to figure out, as I am quite enjoying it. It feels very free and honest to me for the time being. And that's all I can really go on. Somebody emailed me a day or two ago and said "More kind messages, less crossword puzzles." You do know that this only makes me want to post only crossword puzzles, right?

Here are the lyrics (or part of them) to a Moody Blues song I have been really into lately:

Now you know that you are real,
Show your friends that you and me
Belong to the same world,
Turned on to the same word,
Have you heard?

James Randi is revising his famous million dollar challenge to psychics. Wired reports that the rules of the contest are being modded "to better target high-profile charlatans, and spend less time on unknown psychics, who too often turn out to be delusional instead of deceptive." I don't even know where to begin trying to criticize this whole fucking charade, so I will just move on.

The fundamental conflict in the universe is not between good and evil: it is between those who believe Truth can and should be communicated in words, and those who simply *know* that it cannot.

"Intelligent design" is a trojan horse by which science has finally and completely destroyed Christianity as a social movement and spiritual practice. ID theory is nothing more than a re-hashing of Deism, which was the "true" spiritual belief of most of the Founding Fathers (Masons, supposedly) of the United States. In Deist belief, God is basically seen as a watchmaker, who builds the universe, winds the gears up and then lets it function according to Natural Laws, which are then discoverable by science.

googlezon.jpg The weird black and white squares or "markers" that you see in these videos are unnecessary. They are simply concrete devices to help you understand something which is extremely abstract. They are just a stand-in, a cultural training wheel until we "grow up" enough to not need them. All technology is several years more advanced than it seems, but it is released according to what they think people are culturally, mentally, emotionally and physically prepared for. Every piece of technology you have now is nothing more than a primitive training device for what they've already created but which (they think) you're too stupid to use right now as is without some training (along the lines of the first level or intro to a video game).

When you alter your location (ie, travel or move about), what you are doing is modulating what files you surround yourself with. Think of travel as memory retrieval and the speed of travel as having to do with bandwidth limitations.

I've been confused for a while about why there is so much secrecy in esoteric circles around certain subjects, because the closer I have come to those circles, the more I have realized that you simply cannot explain the mysteries contained therein. So the point of vows of secrecy cannot be to keep things secret, because anyone can feasibly access these things. The clues are hidden in everything that exists. There is nothing that exists that doesn't tell you the story of how to do it. So the point must be something different: to shut you up as you get close. To diminish the strangle-hold that your linguistic consciousness has over your mind.

What argument then do science and intelligent design actually really have? None at all. It's a phony media campaign designed to finally and irrevocably smash the pillars of whatever secret truth Christianity may have once held. But then, the Church has been trying to cover up those truths for thousands of years (Da Vinci Code? Though that's only a phoney representation of the secrets they were actually hiding to begin with), so why should that change now that we call it "Science" instead of "Religion"?

In a few years, most of us will openly spend most of our time editing other people's media for reconsumption. This is already happening.

The other avenue this opens up culturally has to do with the idea of designing things intelligently. That is, designing and re-designing reality (a theme popular with Rushkoff). This will become the primary theme for the rest of our lives, in case you're not aware. They call it "augmented" or "mixed reality" depending on what regional market you fall into. Fear not though, as both those words will be replaced by new words once people can wrap their minds around the changes that will suddenly befall them because of it. I feel like I need to warn people that within maybe three-five years, you're not going to know what's what anymore in reality. But when I really think that through, I realize most of us really already don't know what's what, so what will be the difference? The difference will be that the lies will be emboldened by their physicallity.

The Illuminati are not a scientific group, but a religious group. Their many arms, such as Atheist-Humanism, seek esoterically to use Reason as a means of overcoming the ego. Their failing has been only that nobody knows what "Pure Reason" actually is anymore. They have accidentally replaced it with language games and logic rules, when what they are actually after is direct apperception of Truth.

Fundamentalist Christianity is a fraud foisted by science to bring science and religion back together within the public mind. So is the psychedelic movement, which relies in a very materialistic way on using chemicals (ie, products of science's control over nature) to access states of consciousness. This is why you see so many psychedelic advocates who are darlings of the academic and media establishment, because they serve the purpose of the Revelators. You will see these trends play out even moreso within the culture over the coming years and months. Obscurantists will begin going haywire to combat these people who are replacing the Logos with language and Pure Reason with ordinary logic.

buckrogers4.jpg

Science denies the elitism of people who are naturally, through their own efforts, or through the Grace of God (or some combination thereof) able to access higher spiritual states. Science is an egalitarian language game designed to diminish the cultural impact and control of people who can access these traditionally religious states on their own. Science seeks to make them accessible to everyone via technology and chemical enhancement; see: Neurotheology and Transhumanism.

You will be trapped forever in a dream world if you are not careful, if you do not do the legwork now, and do not construct a resurrection body.

WaterhouseHylas.jpg

Scientific luminaries like Isaac Newton who were well-known alchemists plainly prove that science is or was intended to be part and parcel of the alchemical tradition. And if we accept the historical and thematic links between alchemy and ancient gnosticism, then it follows that modern science is little more than a rigorously detailed spiritual discipline devoted to the pursuit of gnosis, which has the interesting side effect of revealing truths about Natural Law and manifesting ideas into the physical realm.

How many years this will take to happen, I can't say. Maybe five years? But the world is going to look like this. You are going to walk around with an augmented reality device, as well as a variety of devices whose purpose is to record, sort and "index" audio, visual and other information about your experience of life. You will become the spiderbot for Google walking around and "crawling" the physical earth. You will be paid a modest amount for your data-collection efforts. We think of these technologies now as "tracking" and "surveillance" but those terms will fall away and be replaced by terms which more accurately reflect the breadth of cultural change these devices will entail. By way of analogy, you could think of your experience of life as going something like this. You walk around and perceive augmented or mixed reality through your headset.

attackmars3.jpg

Most people will eventually gravitate towards *only* perceiving reality through these devices because they add increased levels of richness of information. Then they will of course be implanted and you'll experience only this world from birth. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Before that time, companies will begin to store fully immersive digital simulations of your entire life experience. Think of it in terms of the online virtual world, SecondLife. The devices which are constantly monitoring you and recording your experience will transmit this information to an engine which will parse it and use it to create a stored 4-D copy of your entire life, from start to finish. At any time you like (if you have enough money), you will be able to access your own memories and fully experience them as though they were happening to you again. You (or the government-company which graciously leases you this technology) will also be able to license content from your life to other users, and be able to directly trade experiences. People who have a certain level of shared or common experiences will form clusters of consensus reality, consensciousness. What do you think your MySpace friends are for? Social networking online? Reality clusters. Who you allow into your shared experience of life. Who you give your world key to. Watch this short instructional music video about MySpace and tell me who has been bought and sold and what we are being trained for with increasingly physical and "real life" metaphors? This reads like nothing so much as a 1950's government propaganda film for the future of digital life:

Or you could think of it like this: your wife could log on to SecondLife and see (a sim of) you sitting at your desk at work in real-time. She could also project her own sim into your actual space, which you'll then perceive as "real" thanks to your augmented reality devices. From that stored 4-D copy of your life, you'll also be able to generate increasingly realistic video feeds of your life, even when no video camera is tracking you. Biometric data from the devices you carry on your person will be mathematically reconstructed and rendered to any media format: video (YouTube), text (MySpace), audio (podcasts), etc.

There will be an immediate and furious backlash against this destruction of human identity, time and space as the outer biological limits of the human mind and information-processing faculties are quickly reached. A resulting planned push towards posthumanism will be made, based upon the arguments that most of our experiences at this point are all completely stored electronically. Ghost in the machine. Uploaded consciousness will be offered to transcend these processing and bandwidth limitations of reality, at which point what we think of as a "human" would be more compatible with what we think of nowadays as a "subculture." We will consist of language patterns and inter-locking sets of shared experiences.

That is, if you're weathy enough to have access to all these technological "riches". Class and status within this eventually AI-controlled technocracy (it couldn't functionally exist in any other way) will be determined according to the resolution (parity) of your connection to signals transmitted by consensciousness. Punishment for all crimes (which by definition will be disruptions of the proper functioning of consensciousness) will amount to being cast down into a lower realm of bandwidth and resolution. You will have to make do with older hardware and more time spent in meet/meatspace. Many will choose to do this willingly. Most will have no idea what hit them, or when things changed, nor will they notice that we have been prepared for this through media throughout our whole lives.

dan_coogan_gravitar.jpg

That, at the moment, is about as far as I can see… But mind you, all I can do is speak in metaphors. And I know I am probably wrong when I try to translate the Logos into language. It is an inevitable degradation of the signal, which is why I have been dancing around things so much instead of speaking more plainly. Because the words are all lies. All of the things that I have described have already happened. It is simply the "human condition" and it only repeats itself again and again. If you want to know the challenges you will face as an authentic human in five years, you have only to look at the challenges you've always faced in your life. There is no reason to panic, nor is there reason to rejoice, even though a lot of this stuff seems kind of "cool." But why do you think these things sound "cool" to you in the first place? It's because you've been prepped for these developments your whole life by the cultural mythology which the AI-technocracy has been foisting on you all along. Which may also mean - if that's "true" on some level - that the AI has also been transmitting to us the fears we have of it as well: double binds to cloud our minds, trap us in faulty logic and easily manipulable emotional states. Where is the Alien God when you need him?
